The original Legoland is a "must see" experience. Visit a whole city created from Lego blocks.

The original Legoland opened in 1968 and is located in Billund in South Denmark. Today it is one of the most popular family attractions in Denmark. Just nearby Legoland you can see the first Lego® factory. The company started here more than 80 years ago. 

In Legoland, it is possible to see world-know buildings, which are built of thousands of Lego® bricks. You can see countries built in small scale, also entirely built of Lego bricks. 

Or you can explore the fascinating Miniland and discover an incredible world, where everything is built by millions of LEGO® bricks.


How to get to Legoland

Legoland Denmark is centrally located in Jutland. It is 260 km west of Copenhagen and about 3,5 hours drive from Copenhagen. If you take the train, you stop in Vejle and then take a bus to Billund.

Just next to Legoland is located the second busiest airport in Denmark, Billund Airport, where flights are flying to Copenhagen and many other cities in Europe. It takes about 50 minutes to fly to and from Copenhagen.
