Qaqortoq

Qaqortoq is one of the most charming cities in Greenland.

Qaqortoq is the largest city in South Greenland with around 3000 inhabitants. Qaqortoq present small cosy streets with beautiful colonial buildings dated back to 1775, where the city was founded.

The locals live mostly from fishing, but Qaqortoq also houses the biggest education centre in South Greenland.

A culture project called "Stone and Man" can be seen all around the city. It is 30 motifs that are chiselled into rocks and stones by Nordic artists.
