Odense City Museum

In Møntergården in main historic center of Odense you will discover a cultural oasis comprising lovely courtyards, but also amazing buildings from the 16th century to the present day.

In this museum of all ages, you will find three exhibitions. The newest Building present an exhibition of Danish and world history from a Funen perspective. It is presented in the most interesting way through a cornucopia of scenographic effects, lots of sound, light and video clips and an interactive game square.

Falk Gøyes Gård (1646) provides the setting for the life of the city - Odense in the middle age, and in the almshouses “Pernille Lykke Boder” (Pernille Lykke’s Dwellings) (1617), you will find interiors from the 17th century and the years from 1935–45 respectively.

There is also a beautiful courtyard where you can take a break and rest from experiences in the museum.
