The Ibsen Museum

Experience the last residence of the famous Norwegian playwrighter.

The Ibsen Museum includes a comprehensive exhibit featuring the life and work from the wrirter, as well as Ibsen's private home, where he spent the last 11 years of his life.

The study

You will find the study remains exactly as he left it and other rooms have been restored to the style and colours from the time.

The library, dining room and parlours are open to the public, when accompanied by museum guides. The study is the "crown jewel" of the museum.

The Museum is an absolute must-see experience for Ibsen fans.
