You will get a better chance to reach early northern lights activity, as you already will be away from city lights when it starts to get dark.
When we start our chase from Nordkjosbotn, we can reach further south, further north, further east and further west during the evening compared to tours starting from Tromsø. This can be really important when the weather conditions are bad.
To join our whole day activity trip you need to take a local bus number 100 from Tromsø Prostneset (the main bus station) at 10:30 am. You can buy the ticket from the driver and the price will be around 120 NOK. Young people under 30 years old will get a discount from the driver. This is a scenic drive to the countryside. The bus will arrive in Nordkjosbotn at 11:30, and we will pick you up by minibus at Nordkjosbotn bus station. We will then drive 2 km into the valley to our place where our excursion starts. We will give you an introduction to snowshoes and off we go!
English speaking guide, transportation, thermal suit, winter boots, hat, mittens, chocolate, nuts, biscuits, hot drinks, barbequing over the campfire, pictures (raw and jpeg) and videos from the tour. Tripod available on request.
