Another part of the interesting exhibition shows universal issues related to war, conflict and human rights. Explore some genuine historical items from WWII too.
The brand new modern exhibition centre opened up recently. Through great architecture, the war museum has been created over three floors, which connects unique frames not just to demonstrate the battle of Narvik, but also to illustrate a comprehensive presentation of the history of warfare in Northern Norway.
All texts in the museum are printed in Norwegian and English. Via smartphone app (EurekApp) translation to French, German, Polish and Sami are available free of charge on AppStore(IOS) or Google Play (Android)
Adjacent to the War Museum will also run a research centre and a documentation centre, which provides a unique opportunity to convey the history of warfare in Narvik and Northern Norway in a way it deserves.
