Lainio Snow Village in Finnish Lapland normally consists of an ice hotel with approximately 30 rooms. As well as standard snow rooms there are also individually decorated suites each with a different theme and design.

Every winter, a new ice hotel

The constructors here are talented specialist designers which build the village out of snow and ice. Related to the temperatures, they have to reconstruct the village more time during the winter season.

All the time, these constructors think in new innovative ways in creating new tools and equipment, which take The Snow Village building design to a new level for the visitors.

About the Snow Village cabins

The Lainio Snow Village has 10 Snow suites and 3 cabins for 2–4 persons.

Ice hotel wedding events

You can enjoy a delicious dinner in the spectacular Snow Restaurant and take a cocktail in the Ice Bar. For wedding couples, Snow Village offers remarkable settings for an unforgettable day. Couples can choose between a cool ice chapel with furnishings made of ice snow, or a cosy wooden chapel.

Bring warm clothes

During your stay here you will be wearing winter clothes. Staying in a place like the Snow Village means temperatures from -2 and -5-celsius degrees, regardless of our door temperatures.
