Copenhagen Half Marathon was awarded the IAAF Road Race Bronze Label in January 2015 as the first race throughout the Nordic countries. In January 2016 the race obtained the IAAF Road Race Silver Label. The aim is to obtain the Gold Label, which is considered the most prestigious quality designation and which has been awarded to just a few other half marathons throughout the world.
Copenhagen Half Marathon commences and finishes on Øster Allé, in the midst of the big city park Fælledparken in Copenhagen. The men’s and the women’s elite race begins concurrently with the mass participation race at 11:15 am.
The entry fee includes a finisher medal and a Nike running T-shirt which is to be collected along with the race packet at the Copenhagen Half Marathon Expo from Thursday 15 through Sunday 18 September.
For persons entering later than Sunday the 29th August 2016, the standard included service of having first name and nationality printed on the race bib number will no longer apply.
The entry fee will increase to DKK 500 from September 5th 2016.
