He lived between 1878–1961, and he was known for his special personality. Daily he was a determined businessman, but in the night he changed to a sensitive and sociable patron of the arts.

Amos Anderson Art Museum is the biggest private art museum in Finland. In general it is contemporary Finnish art, art and furnishings from Amos Anderson's private collections, but also The Foreign Art Collection from architect Sigurd Frosterus can be visited here.
