It is possible to make tax-free shopping in Finland if you are not living in the EU.
If you want to buy tax-free in Finland, anyone living outside the EU and Norway can shop tax-free in Finland, saving up to 17 % when spending more than 40 euros.
Only stores with “tax-free shopping” signs will provide customers with a cheque covering the VAT refund; this can be cashed upon leaving the last EU country visited.
The cheque and the goods purchased should be presented at departure. The refund will be paid in cash. Tax-free purchases must be taken from Finland or the EU in unused conditions.
