In Denmark, it is possible to buy local public discount cards in many cities.
The cards provide free admission and discounts and in some cases, free transport.
Copenhagen Card offers you free and unlimited bus, metro and train travel throughout the Capital Region (HUR-area), which includes North Sealand, Roskilde and Køge. Besides, it gives free visits to over 60 museums and attractions and discounts for more than 20 cultural experiences. Including a free guide with descriptions of all museums, attractions and deals with the purchase of the card.
It is easy to buy one. Copenhagen Tourist Information, major railway stations, selected tourist agencies, Copenhagen Airport Information Desk and at most hotels, hostels and camping sites in and outside the capital region offers the Copenhagen Card.
The Aarhus Card offers you free admission to 20 attractions and activities and reduces the entrance to ARoS and Old Town. The card also includes free transport by bus and free parking on School Hill Car Park, off Great Belt Bridge.
You can buy Aarhus Card at the VisitAarhus Welcome Centre, the city's hotels, campgrounds, marinas, hostels and at Aarhus Bus Station.
Buying the Odense City Pass, you get free access to many of Odense's museums, 50% discount on admission to Odense Zoo. In addition, you get free bus services in and around Odense.
The Aalborg Card offers you free admission to 13 attractions, free bus travel in Aalborg, free parking at Kennedy Arcade and offers discounts in some Aalborg’s shops.
You can buy the card in North Jutland bus stations, at selected hotels and attractions, the region's tourist offices and Visit Aalborg’s website.
Ribe Pas is the discount card of Ribe. The card includes maximum 20% discount on a variety of attractions and activities in Ribe, such as Ribe Cathedral, Ribe Art Museum, Ribe Viking Museum and the Wadden Sea Centre. You also get some restaurant and experience offers.
